Flyvbird (Flyv) is excited to announce the successful completion of its first demonstration flights yesterday at Germany’s Friedrichshafen Airport, marking a pivotal step towards revolutionizing regional air mobility with flexible, on-demand services.
The company also revealed it will begin its first scheduled flights from Friedrichshafen in May 2025. Initial bookings are expected to open later this year.
Tomislav Lang, Flyvbird’s principal shareholder and founder, and former CEO of SkyWork Airlines, commented: “Yesterday marked a milestone for future regional air mobility models.
With my extensive experience leading several airlines, I am thrilled to spearhead this visionary leap. Flyvbird combines cutting-edge technology with the needs of modern travellers, pathfinding a sustainable future in aviation.”
