30th January 2025 (London, UK) – 3TOP Aviation Services (3TOP) has acquired a pair of Pratt and Whitney 4170 Engines bearing serial numbers P735027 and P735028 previously operated by China Southern Airlines. These engines will be inducted into 3TOP’s lease pool or harvested for material to serve 3TOP’s global customers.

“Given the delays and lengthy lead-times airlines are experiencing to obtain new wide-body aircraft, many operators have been extending the operation of current generation aircraft. Adding these PW4170 engines to our portfolio positions 3TOP to offer best-in-class personalised support programmes to our customer base with the usual high levels of service which our customers have become accustomed” said Matt Atkins VP Business Development of 3TOP.
